Question by stl_harrison08: what’s the name of this horror movie that takes place on a ocean liner?
My memory of this movie is very vague so I don’t expect much, but if any one has suggestions, all are welcome. The movie takes place on a ship that a team of people have discovered. Everything seems fine for the crew until evil robots on the ship begin to tear them apart one at a time. I’m pretty sure that this movie was made in the 90′s but I could be wrong. Please help me to figure out this movie so I can rent it and scare the crap out of my friend!

A ghostly ship looms silently ahead as the crippled, ocean-going, salvage tug Sea Star approaches. The Sea Star crew, their ship slowly sinking, has sought refuge in the eerie calm of the eye of a typhoon to make repairs and, they hope, to avert disaster. But something’s terribly wrong. The ship, a Russian science vessel bristling with high-tech radar, electronics and other wonders, appears to be deserted. Unfortunately for the crew of the Sea Star, nothing could be further from the truth. Shelter from the storm turns into terror on board as they find themselves stalked by a mutating alien life form that has traveled across time and space, an energy force unlike any in the universe. TRIVIA:
Chuck Pfarrer explained in an interview that the comic book was based on the script that he wrote in the early-’90s. Because of the special effects that the script called for, it was impossible to make the script into a movie at that time, and he handed it to Dark Horse Comics who published it in 1995. Several years later, when special effects technology had caught up, Pfarrer revised the original script.
